Client Brief

The client required a showroom that reflects Toyota’s brand identity while offering a welcoming and relaxed environment for customers. The space needed to accommodate vehicle display, customer seating, and interaction zones without feeling cluttered or overly commercial.

Design Approach

With no major civil modifications, the design focused on transforming the existing volume through materiality, lighting, and spatial zoning. Instead of treating the showroom as a purely display-driven space, the layout was structured to encourage longer customer engagement. Seating areas were integrated within the display zone to create a more informal and approachable experience. A restrained base palette was introduced to keep the focus on the vehicles, while strategic interventions such as customised wall treatments and lighting were used to add identity and visual depth without overwhelming the space.

The showroom transitions from a standard vehicle display space into a more refined, experience-driven environment. The integration of storytelling elements like customised wallpapers, along with thoughtful spatial planning, enhances both customer engagement and brand perception.
